A short abstract story about Interoception and longterm chronic illness. Interoception is often referred to as 'The 8th Sense' and has a complicated relationship between the body and the mind. In some long-term neurological illnesses, such as M.E. or Chronic fatigue syndrome, the heightened response can remain for many months or years.
In this book I explore the neurology of the visual cortex, different neurons and the human effects of the brain. The images have been created from various collaborations and in particular with the Australia National University Neuronal Signalling Group, has helped me create this small artist book.
