The series, Oxidative Stress explores post-exertional malaise or extreme fatigue in Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome as it is more familiarly known. I create these cellular images with a floral aesthetic, a way to refresh the cellular disorientation, its fractures and extrusions.
This phenomenological and subconscious experience shifts our reality as the body moves between the conscious and unconscious state.
